The Quadrilatero, located in the southern quadrant of Milan, was born from the vision of the founder of Camuzzi in the 1990s, who foresaw the future redevelopment of the area by converting two former factories into offices in Via Ripamonti and Lorenzini, and by constructing the other two buildings in Via Marelli in the first decade of the 2000s. For years now, this southern area of Milan, near the Fondazione Prada, has been at the center of a major regeneration strategy that will culminate in the redevelopment of the former Porta Romana railway yard.
